Why is Meta Ads management priced slightly higher than Google Ads?
While Google Ads are about capturing existing intent, Meta Ads are about creating it. Meta requires highly “active” management. We have to constantly monitor ad frequency, swap out visual assets, and test new thumb-stopping hooks much more often than on Google to prevent your costs from spiking.
What exactly is included in the Meta startup fee?
The startup phase for Meta is incredibly labor-intensive. Unlike search ads where a landing page is enough, a Meta ad’s performance is intrinsically tied to the credibility of the Facebook and Instagram profile behind it. The startup fee covers auditing and “beautifying” your social storefront so ads actually convert, developing your initial creative assets, and setting up complex server-side tracking (the Meta Conversions API) to bypass iOS privacy blocks.
How does the pricing work for the “Scale” tier?
The Scale tier is built for aggressive growth. The base management fee covers our intensive daily monitoring and the production of high-converting video assets. For ad budgets exceeding $5,000/month, we add a 10% management fee on the overage. This is because the technical overhead of properly managing and feeding data into Meta’s Advantage+ AI algorithms scales directly alongside the volume of spend.
What should I budget for actual ad spend?
Your ad spend goes directly to Meta and is separate from our management fee. Because the algorithm requires a minimum volume of data (conversions) to exit the “learning phase,” we typically recommend a starting ad budget of at least $1,500 to $2,000 per month to see a tangible, scalable return on investment.
Will I own my Meta Business Manager and ad accounts?
Absolutely. Transparency is a core value at Canwest Creative. You retain 100% administrative ownership of your Meta Business Manager, ad accounts, pixel data, and custom audiences. We simply request agency partner access to do the heavy lifting on your behalf.
